Is 2026 a leap year?
2026 is not a leap year because it's not divisible by 4. There are additional rules around leap years aside from divisibility by four, but these only matter once each century so for another 74 years we can just go by the 'divisible by 4' rule :)

Moving the clock forward and back for daylight saving time is still in effect and in 2026 it starts on Sunday, March 8 and ends on Sunday, November 1. Efforts to implement permanent daylight saving time are slow-moving. Timing also needs to be coordinated with the United States due to Canada's close proximity and close trade relationship.
