When you are renting a cottage it's very important that you start your search early. If you want to rent a cottage in BC for August, for example, then you should be making the reservations in January or February otherwise you will end up with cottages that nobody wanted and chances are you won't find your dream place including a hottub, a fireplace and a sandy beach.
